I saw on TV that corsets are making a comeback. Supposedly.

My proposal is for two dozen 18” structures of the “figure” (as in the changing shape which fashion sets for the female body) made using wax, paper, lead and tin.

The body is fragile in the tissue paper and wax. The armour-like lead and tin encase it and force “the shape upon it”. The figures are on stands raising them to eye-level.
