These pages form part of the "Lucky Bag" installation and performance by Karen Strang at the 1996 Society of Scottish Artists exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh, where the work received the George Wyllie Prize.
It was subsequently exhibited/performed at Peacock Printmakers in Aberdeen and at the April 1997 Glasgow Art Fair. Reviewing the latter in The Scotsman Duncan MacMillan described it as "perfectly unsaleable".
The final performance/exhibition was at the Women and Texts: Languages, Technology and Communities conference in Leeds in June 1997.
